We’re so excited to create, design, and celebrate with you!
To make sure every experience runs smoothly for all of our guests, here’s how our booking policies work.
✨ Private 1-on-1 Classes
Private sessions are perfect for focused learning and personalized instruction.
Booking

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your session.

Private instruction is $50 per hour (1-hour minimum).

Your deposit is applied toward your final balance on the day of your class.
Need to Reschedule?

No problem! Just let us know at least 3 days in advance.

Reschedules must be used within 30 days of your original date.
No Shows
-
If you miss your session without notice, the deposit will be forfeited.
🎉 Group Sessions (5+ Guests)
Whether you're celebrating a birthday, hosting a girls’ night, or planning a team outing — we love group energy!
Reserving Your Date
For events booked more than 14 days in advance:

A minimum $250 non-refundable deposit is required.

Deposit will be applied to balance on day of service.
For:

Groups of 10+ guests
-
Peak season bookings (November–January)
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required.
Events booked within 14 days:

Full payment is required at booking.
How Group Payments Work
You can choose what works best for your group:

Each guest pays individually through a private link
-
One person pays the full balance via invoice
Final payment is due 10 days before your event.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that life happens!

Deposits are non-refundable.

You may reschedule once within 30 days of your original booking (based on availability).

Cancellations made within 10 days of your event are not eligible for refunds.
If you need to adjust your date, just reach out — we’ll do our best to help.
🕒 Event Timing & Studio Guidelines
To keep everything flowing beautifully:

Group sessions include 2 hours total (instruction + celebration + cleanup).
-
Sessions must start and end on time.
-
Additional time (if available) is $75 per hour.
Please help us keep the studio lovely!
If the space is left excessively messy, your deposit may be forfeited.
🍰 Food & Celebrations
You’re welcome to bring:

Light snacks

Beverages
Not permitted:
-
Burners or food warmers
We’re happy to light candles for your celebration cake upon request 🎂
🏢 Corporate Events (Studio & Mobile)
We love working with corporate teams and organizations!
Booking

A 50% non-refundable event retainer is required to reserve your date.

Remaining balance is due 7–10 days prior to your event.
-
Mobile experiences require additional planning and coordination.
Corporate Cancellations
Because we prepare materials, staffing, and logistics in advance:

All retainers are non-refundable.

Payments will be converted to event credit if cancellation occurs.

Credits are valid for 12 months.
-
Cancellations within 10 days of the event are not eligible for refunds.
We’re always happy to help you reschedule when needed.

Products only:
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@thejewelryinstructor.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and digital products. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Online Bookings
Booking directly from website widgets is based on availability of time slots. There will be an initial small deposit taken upon booking. Supply fee, and taxes are charged upon arrival. Deposits are non refundable if attendee is a NO SHOW.
Venue Rental
Venue rental is available upon request for birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, corporate meetings, etc. There will be a separate agreement for venue rental. Please call for 713-682-9778 for availability and additional information.
SHIPPING POLICY
Please allow 3-14 days after purchase for your order to ship, after which normal delivery times apply.
