KUMI-CUTE "as a" BUTTON Bracelet Kumihimo Tutorial
Kumihimo Bracelet Tutorial. Buttons, Buttons, Buttons…………to find the right button is “NOT” the issue when creating this cute Kumihimo Bracelet. The combination of Kumihimo meets Bead weaving allows you to create a matching button, that is the perfect ensemble for this fully beaded loop & button bracelet. KUMIHIMO OUTSIDE THE BOX (KOB) is how I would describe this piece.

This bracelet is created using a circular brick stitch beaded sitting at center stage on this beautiful bracelet. The finish is a fully beaded loop closure & there is no need for bead caps, clasps, or wire wrapping. If you love Kumihimo like I do, you will love creating this bracelet. You will need to know how to construct the round 8 element Kumihimo structure of Kongoh Gumi. If you do not have prior knowledge of circular brick stitch, do not worry because this tutorial gives you a step by step instruction on this beadweaving technique. To complete 1 beaded bracelet you will need (2) grams of size 11 seed beads, (10) grams of size 8 seed beads, and an 8mm bead or a button of choice. Please contact the shop owner if you do not have access to a local craft store or bead shop, for there are additional supplies needed for this tutorial that can easily be found at your local craft stores.
